PCCW Global partners with Danawa Resources to explore new business opportunities in South East Asia - August 1, 2007
HONG KONG/MALAYSIA, August 1, 2007 - PCCW Global today announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Malaysian ICT company Danawa Resources Sdn. Bhd. to explore business opportunities relating to fiber links in South East Asia, which would meet the international connectivity needs of enterprise, government and other market sectors in the region. PCCW Global will provide expertise and know-how in specialized services, such as Multi Protocol Label Switching Virtual Private Networks (MPLS-VPN) and International Ethernet Private Line (IEPL) solutions. Danawa and PCCW Global hold proven track records in successful interconnection with service providers in various regions and the MoU will explore extending reach across South East Asia for both companies. PCCW Global Asia Pacific Senior Vice President Stephen Pang said: "We are committed to extending our presence in South East Asian countries, and the partnership with Danawa takes us a step closer to our goal. Strengthened international capability and experience will enable us to provide integrated global communications solutions that meet all customer requirements for network quality, value and reliability." The reports, including Applications Report, QoS Report, Router Report and Traffic Report, can assist the customer to monitor network performance, and get maximum capacity and efficiency from the network.
