Frederick is our CEO, overseeing the growth of our integrated global communication solutions business. He is responsible for all commercial activities within PCCW Global, which includes Data, Mobility, Voice and our on-demand platform Console Connect.

He has more than 32 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry, the last 28 years of which have been with the PCCW-HKT Group.

Frederick is a Board Member of the Bridge Alliance and a Board Member of the Global Leaders Forum (GLF). He previously served as a member of the Board of Directors of MEF, and also sits on the boards of a number of subsidiaries around the world.

Lawrence is our Senior Vice President of Technology, leading our global technology team and overseeing the research and development of our automated network and services. He brings over two decades of executive leadership in emerging technologies, cloud architecture and global network infrastructure.

Lawrence joined Console Connect in 2015, building the engineering team and product architecture for our multi-award-winning Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) platform – ahead of its acquisition by PCCW Global in 2017.

As a certified Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) practice consultant, Lawrence has helped drive operational discipline at PCCW Global through the adoption of SAFe, while also introducing FinOps practices to maximise cloud efficiency and deliver high-impact, customer-facing technologies.

Lawrence previously held executive roles at NEXTDC and Red Hat, where he was part of the original team that created OpenShift.

A prolific inventor and builder, Lawrence holds three patents covering internationalisation, cross-connect inventory management in data centres and financial reconciliation using blockchain technology.

Francis is a data-driven executive with over 20 years of experience delivering measurable outcomes, accelerating revenue growth, and leading cross-functional teams across the Technology and Telecommunications sectors. Since joining PCCW Global in 2010 as Senior Sales Manager, he has advanced to SVP Global Data Sales & Operations. He oversees Sales across Asia and the Middle East & Africa, and leads global functions including Global Presales, Service Delivery, Commercial Operations, Internal Digital Operations, and Global Service Management.

A strong advocate for transformation, Francis believes operational excellence is the foundation of exceptional customer experience. He brings deep expertise in operational gap analysis, business process digitalisation, and performance optimisation, as well as reducing inefficiencies, maximising resources, and increasing profitability. Recognised for simplifying and solving complex challenges, Francis fosters cross-functional collaboration and empowers teams to embrace digital transformation and innovation.

With over 30 years of experience in Telecommunications, System Integration, and Distribution, Petros has held senior leadership roles across major European telecom operators, including Managing Director, Sales Director, and Business Development Director.

In his current role, Petros leads the regional sales strategy across Europe and the Americas, in addition to holding global responsibility for the company’s operations and Automated Platform Business. As Commercial Head, he is entrusted with global oversight across commercial, operational, and product functions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic vision.

Prior to joining PCCW Global, he held key positions at OTEGlobe and Flag Telecom. Petros holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Wales, Cardiff.

Linda brings over 20 years of rich experience in the telecommunications and mobile industries. In her current executive role, Linda leads the teams focused on Roaming, MVNO, A2P Messaging & Voice with strategic responsibilities to drive revenue and EBITDA growth for the PCCW Global Business Unit.

Linda is dedicated to driving innovation, formulating strategies, and fostering partnerships with mobile operators and international carriers. Prior to her tenure at PCCW Global, Linda held leadership positions at Telstra, Pacnet and Verizon. Her expertise spans Mobility, Data, Voice, Submarine Cable, Data Centres, and IP, complemented by her profound understanding of the international market and strong relationships with global carriers.

Beyond her responsibilities at PCCW Global, Linda actively contributes to the industry and serves as Board member of i3Forum, and Advisory Council for Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC), where she leverages her extensive industry knowledge to influence the future of global telecommunications.

Linda holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Chi-Chiu Mak is Senior Vice President of Product, Planning and Procurement for PCCW Global and our on-demand platform Console Connect. He has over 30 years of experience in various leadership and operational roles within the organisation.

His extensive expertise spans several critical areas, including engineering, finance, sales and marketing, product development, partnership building, and solutions advisory.

Throughout his career at PCCW Global, Chi-Chiu has successfully led global infrastructure projects across multiple continents, including the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. His leadership has been instrumental in developing and expanding the company’s global presence, demonstrating his ability to navigate complex challenges and drive growth.

Chi-Chiu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, along with Master’s Degrees in Information Systems Management and Business Administration. His educational background equips him with the knowledge and skills necessary to foster innovation and digital transformation within the organisation.

Bret is our Chief Network Officer and has a broad spectrum of responsibilities within the company, including global network engineering, network project management and support functions, security and privacy, compliance and facilities and travel management.

Bret joined PCCW Global in 2001, prior to which he spent time as the Director of Engineering at Teleglobe International and as Director of Operations and Engineering at MCI/Worldcom.

Bret also represents the company on the board of REACH, which is a 50:50 joint venture with Telstra. He is based in Herndon, Virginia in the United States.

Teresa has a wealth of experience gained from managing financial and accounting functions within various business units of the PCCW-HKT Group.

Teresa was appointed to her current role in 2013, and she is responsible for all aspects of the finance function including credit control, treasury, audit and tax. The majority of her team is based in Hong Kong, although she also has team members located in PCCW Global’s regional offices around the world.

Prior to joining the PCCW-HKT Group, Teresa worked for Arthur Andersen (now PwC).

In her role as Vice President of Marketing, Karen Yu is responsible for driving the global marketing strategy for PCCW Global and the Console Connect Software Defined Interconnection® platform. She oversees all areas of marketing activities for the PCCW Global and Console Connect brands, including communications, digital marketing, events, analytics, marketing tech and design.

Karen joined PCCW’s international business unit in 2003, prior to the launch of PCCW Global in 2005. Earlier in her career, Karen held a number of posts at the Hong Kong Telecom CSL mobile communications provider, working in a commercial product marketing capacity from 1994 to 1998, before expanding her experience by taking on a consumer marketing role in 1999.

Karen graduated from the Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia, with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics & Statistics.

Henry is our Senior Vice President for Agile Management. In his role, Henry works very closely with Paul Gampe to ensure the successful implementation and deployment of Agile processes and methodologies within PCCW Global.

Henry has held a number of senior management roles in both PCCW Global and other companies in the Asia Pacific region – these include various leadership roles in Products and Engineering within the company, together with roles as Head of Technology at Pacific Century Corporate Access and Chief Network Officer at Asia Broadcast Satellite.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.

Lisa is Senior Vice President for Global Services and Operations. Lisa’s globally-dispersed team is responsible for service delivery, service assurance and network operations for all services offered by PCCW Global and the Console Connect on-demand platform.

Her team is also focused on supporting the company’s future roadmap of automated, self-serve offerings. Before joining PCCW Global in 2010, Lisa held positions at GlobeNet, MCI Communications and Hewlett Packard, in various business management roles, including financial analysis, strategic alliance management and contract management.

Lisa holds an MBA from the University of Maryland.
