IT Project Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Independently manage multiple concurrent projects with significant complexity
  • Full ownership in driving responsible projects to completion according to agreed time, budget, scope and quality
  • iaison with global business users to understand business needs, analyze and document requirements, manage translation into effective solutions designs and deliveries. Achieve overall project goals and objectives to secure a high level of customer satisfactions
  • Perform day-to-day project management activities, including but not limit to, managing stakeholders, scope, resource, schedule, risks, issues, quality, communications and change control
  • Develop project charter, detail project plans and manage corresponding project executions
  • Manage stakeholder relationships; work closely with management, business users, vendors, sub-contractors, and solutions delivery teams globally
  • Compile budget estimations, purchase requests, acquire approvals, and manage vendor payments according to key project milestones
  • Recruit specialists and contractors for responsible projects
  • Ensure PM methodologies, IT standards, policies and procedures are being strictly followed
  • Liaison with product vendors or service providers, evaluate and propose appropriate solutions to meet business & operational needs
  • Effectively manage and resolve conflicts arise on responsible projects
  • Provide regular project status update reporting to management and other stakeholders, to ensure clear visibility

Requirements:

  • University graduate in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
  • Minimum 10 years solid experience in IT Industry and at least 4 years in capacity of project manager or program manager
  • Extensive experience in vendor management, risk management, and handling multiple IT projects simultaneously
  • In-depth understanding in IT System lifecycle, from conceptual, system design, development to production, utilization and support
  • Possess professional certification in Project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent
  • Track records in successfully managing IT projects to completion
  • Experience in managing IT projects in multinational organizations is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated, strong initiative, good team player, strategic skills and problem solver
