Mr. Benney Cheng, Head of Strategic Project and Development, has over 25 years of work experience in major telecommunications companies such as AT&T, SingTel, Telecom Italia and Reach. Based in Singapore, he has held senior positions in sales, marketing and operations, serving markets in both Hong Kong and China with both multinational corporations and service providers.
In his former role, he led the PCCW Global sales team to build up the Telecom business in the ASEAN region. He will continue to oversee the ASEAN region as well as the SAARC countries and Oceania.
He has an Honours degree in Computer Science from Brigham Young University and has attended the Management Development Program at Darden School of Business, University of Virginia. He was appointed as Vice President and Chairman of the Program Committee of Hong Kong Singapore Business Association in 2006.
