Senior Backend Software Engineer

PCCW Global is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to be based in Athens, Greece.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Analysis of data processing problems
• Implementation of backend components
• ETL operations
• Integration of backend systems

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience with Java / Scala
• 1+ years of experience with Apache Spark and / or Flink
• 1+ years of experience with Apache Kafka
• Experienced Git user
• CS or relevant degree a plus
• Experience with Golang a plus
• Experience with Python a plus
• Experience with Elasticsearch a plus
• Experience with Druid a plus
• Experience with Cassandra a plus
• Experience with Apache Storm a plus
• Experience with Docker a plus
• Fast learner, team player, good communication and problem solving skills
