Business Development Manager – Indonesia (South Asia)

Roles & Responsibilities: 

Indonesia is a part of South Asia Sub region, covering Singapore and Malaysia. PCCW Global provides wholesale data transport services and solutions to operators in the South Asia region as well as to enterprises. This includes managed capacity services, Ethernet, L2/L3 MPLS, IP Transit, Satellite, Global TV Network, Cloud Connect, and automated self-serve connect services. It also provides solutions higher layer UCaaS and Network Security solutions on a white label basis to regional operators and "Smart Solutions" to government, municipal, and private companies.

  • Achieve or exceed annual billed revenue and sales margin targets; sales coverage is to both existing and new logo wholesale and enterprise customers.
  • Accountable for progress of the sales cycle: prospect new sales opportunities, propose and price products and solutions that meet the customer's needs, close deals, assure billing and collection.
  • Grow and manage a pipeline of prioritized sales opportunities; maintain up to date sales milestone progress and issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain a sales strategy for key accounts that is aligned with company strategy and direction.
  • Develop requisite expertise in PCCW pre and post sales processes with hands on knowledge of systems employed during the sales cycle; maintain a high level of system data integrity related to the status of sales and customer accounts.
  • Establish and develop key relationships with decision makers in existing customers and target companies.
  • Work closely with regional and global sales teams as necessary throughout the sales cycle.
  • Provide timely sales report information as required.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through diligence and responsiveness to customer; respond within 24 hours or less whenever contact is made by a customer and follow through with resolution of all issues - particularly those relating to customer dissatisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Sales professional manager with at least 8-10 years of experience in direct sales to telecom service operators and enterprises of global or regional data transport products and solutions.
  • Strong network within Indonesia telco wholesale market, and able to call upon C level and hold business discussion independently
  • Experience in working with resellers or channel partners a plus.
  • Significant knowledge and success in selling at least three of the data products and services listed above in this document introduction.
  • Self-motivated with sales experience in Indonesia.
  • A proven networker who can develop productive relationships with key decision makers in target companies.
  • Experience or knowledge of collaborative sales techniques to enterprises is a plus but not essential.
  • An ability to sell products and solutions that deliver positive business outcomes to the customer.
  • Record of applying best practice sales processes and quota achievement.
  • Experience in best use of sales and customer relationship management tools, collaboration tools, customer revenue analysis tools.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in English.
  • Located in Jakarta - moderate level of travel required
