Assistant Engineer, Satellite Engineering

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Execute daily maintenance works in teleports, including servo systems, HPA systems, satellite up and down converters systems and miscellaneous equipment maintenance and repair.
• Assist provisioning team for customers’ projects.
• Coordinate with vendors for Repair & Return.
• Support ISD data entry ECCN inventory coding update.
• Provide technical, service and operational support including Emergency Call-Out (ECO) when required.
• Support teleport service which includes service lineup, system setup, installation and ad-hoc projects.
• Source technical solutions for special network or customer projects.
• Support network activities globally and travel when required

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Telecommunications, IP/Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Working experience with Satellite or Wireless Telecom Operators / Network Operators, etc.
• Hands-on experience in using Testers and cabling works
• A Team player with initiative, eager to learn, deliver, and good communication skills
• Good skill in inventory management and documentation.
• Possession of valid driving license is definitely an advantage
