Community and Communications Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

PCCW Global is looking for a Community and Communications Manager to be based in London, UK.

  • Define the community strategy together with the VP Digital Sales and Marketing
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the community needs including interests, hot topics, influencers and thought leaders, peer networking groups, events and educational content needs.
  • Work with internal software teams and external vendors to continually develop and enhance the Console Connect community platform.
  • Own and manage the Community go-to-market plan to attract new users and promoting the sharing of content and ideas.
  • Create, curate and share compelling content that amplifies company messages and supports member and prospect engagement to members in alignment with a defined content strategy. e.g. Blogs, articles, industry news
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to plan and execute campaigns that drive membership including online/offline events, external influencers and content partners, reward schemes.
  • Act as the face and voice of the community and work with community members to make the community successful, helping them find value.
  • Measure performance, reporting regularly against strategic objectives and targets
  • Monitor and moderate ongoing community activity, responding and escalating as appropriate.

Requirement:

  • A passion for communication, innovation and disruptive technologies.
  • Proven experience of building, managing and growing online B2B communities, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Ability to quickly develop a good understanding of the business landscape that the Console Connect community is operating in.
  • Up to date on the latest trends and use of technology in the delivery online community services.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Excellent writing skills and grammar and experience delivering high-quality content (text, image, video).
  • Program management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a virtual, global environment.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and interact with all levels of management.
  • A Communications, Marketing or Business Degree
