Analyst Programmer
Roles and Responsibilities:
PCCW Global is looking for an Analyst Programmer. The main responsibilities include:
- Interact with users globally to understand the business requirements and assist to design adequate IT solutions
- Develop, test and implement in-house systems, perform application tuning and offer UAT support
- Prepare business and technical documentation on IT solutions and design
- Solve both business and technical problems, and offer IT support to business users
- Assist to evaluate open-source or vendor software solutions and do Proof-of-Concept to verify applicability when needed
Requirements:
- Degree holder in Information Technology or related discipline
- Min. 3 years in IT, with solid experience in Web Application development
- Hands on experience in HTML5, CSS3, JSON, XML, RESTful API, J2EE, Apache, JBoss, MySQL and Linux is a must
- Previous exposure in SOA, Design Patterns and ITIL is a definite asset
- Knowledge in Mobile Application development is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, and able to work independently
- Able to complete projects on time, and follow the industry's best practices
- Self-Motivated and a good team player
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Senior Analyst Programmer or System Analyst
