IT Support Specialist
Roles and Responsibilities:
PCCW Global is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The main responsibilities include:
- Responsible for IT problem resolution and the ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and solve problems in a timely and accurate manner with minimal assistance from team members.
- Assists with providing technical assistance to computer system and mobile device users and answer questions or resolve problems for staff in person, via telephone, or from remote location with minimal assistance from team members.
- Assists with desktop implementation and management of patient care software system and business applications to include coordination of Help Desk work orders and IT Help Desk process management.
- Follows documented procedures to ensure quality and regulatory compliance
- Answers questions and provides technology help for staff as needed.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree holder in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- Minimum one year of end user support experience with knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop operating system and Microsoft Windows applications.
- Some experience supporting Android and iOS Smartphones, tablets and applications.
- Requires customer service skills as related to hardware and software implementation and support
- Understanding of security issues surrounding applications.
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Valid Colorado driver’s license and unlimited access to reliable transportation. Adequate automobile insurance
- Strong ability to priorities multiple tasks and stick to strict deadlines
- Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills in both Chinese and English
