Assistant Contract Manager
Roles and Responsibilities:
PCCW Global is looking for an Assistant Contract Manager. The main responsibilities include:
- Support Senior Contract Manager with negotiation of purchase agreements and associated SLA’s in all global regions related to connectivity and colocation services.
- Review Order Form T’s&C’s to ensure alignment with Master Agreements or other governing documents.
- Work internally with key stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure compliance for their area of expertise is included in the negotiated documents.
- Ensure that the Business Unit and Group contract archives are kept aligned and up-to-date
- Serve as subject matter expert on internal Vendor Information Management application.
- Review and propose changes to vendor contracts, amendments, addenda and schedules to ensure approved terms and conditions are evident in the document.
- Work closely with Legal Team, Regulatory, and Export Compliance to ensure alignment of T’s&C’s
- Ensure contract sign off and handover is completed along with internal communication of completion.
- Coordinate finalization, execution and archiving of each agreement.
- Ensure consistency of terms and conditions (as appropriate) between various vendor agreements
- Shepherd purchase agreements throughout the organization for comments and input, including to Product, Presales, Engineering, Service Delivery and Finance
- For documents needed in time-sensitive customer cases, find ways to be expeditious, but always ensuring the documents are forwarded with language that protects the company.
- Customize pre-approved templates for NDA’s and procurement MSA’s for use in regional areas
- Serve as backup to fellow team members in ensuring new Vendor Code Requests and uploads to internal vendor management system are expeditious and accurate
Requirements:
- 5-7 years telecommunications industry experience with some exposure to telecom products and understanding various roles within the industry
- Must work well within a global company, working across borders and willing to join off-hour calls on occasion.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills for negotiating with vendors as well as interacting with various PCCWG internal departments
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of standard MS Office programs are must
